It was a rare week when most of the picks were successful in both the Cup and Nationwide races for the weekend. We only had two misses, both were picks of Kyle Busch in the cup race.
Unfortunately one of the players who missed was 2nd place Gary Wheat who lost even more points to leader Lou Demian this week. Lou took Denny Hamlin in both races. It worked out especially well in the Truck race after he ended up winning and extended Lou's streak to 7 weeks. He gained a total of 56 points, the 2nd highest this week. He now leads by 60 points. If Lou has a big weekend in Texas he may have the opportunity to win his 2nd Streak to the finish Championship.
The high score of the week was 59 points recorded by Ron Blackman. Like Lou, Ron also has a 7 week Truck streak going, however Ron gained more points in the Cup race after picking Jimmie Johnson.
Mitch McCown had the third highest score with 50 points and is the third player with a 7 week Truck streak. He just barely managed to keep in going after picking James Buescher who finished 10th.
