Lincoln Griffin has left the league due to complications with a new job, so we wish him well. That opens up a spot in all three series this weekend.
Dave Davis was initially tabbed to get the spot in the Cup series but he never answered his emails back for some reason. That means Mitch McCown who was 2nd on the waiting list will get the spot. He has confirmed it already. His car # and sponsor is TBD at this time. He will be competing against Ron Blackman for rookie of the year in 2012.
Mike Higley will join his father in the Nationwide series after getting called up. e will be competing against Jonathan Carlisle for rookie of the year and looking to join his father Dean as a Nationwide series champion.
There is also an open spot in the Truck series but right now we don't have anyone going into it just yet.
