This one kind of came out of nowhere... There's a rumor that Penske might disolve the #77 team next year. Kodak is leaving a sponsor, and I guess they don't have anyone else lined up. No word on where Kvapil is going to end up, but I guess he's out of a job next year. I'm sure Kvapil's performance is one of the reasons why the team will disolve though. Supposedly Penske is developing another driver though, so he may not keep it a 2 car team for long.
Brent Sherman has been officially named to drive the #49 car next year.
Roush will be changing the number of the 97 car to #26 for next year.
K. Schrader mentioned that there would be a press announcement on Friday....and Waltrip hinted that it might have to do with the #21 car so I guess this all makes sense............Sherman to the #49 while Kenny goes to the #21...........one question:
Where is Ward Burton in all of this........so many rides changing hands and no one wants to give him a chance? I guess he burned bridges this past year when he turned a few teams down during the season.
