The newly repaved Kansas Speedway proved to be a challenge to drivers but the streakers weren't hit too bad this week, except for those that picked Hamlin and Biffle in the Cup series. Those two drivers were popular picks which resulted in 7 missed picks. There was just one missed pick in the Nationwide series after Menard ran into trouble late in the race.
Terry Howell has the longest running Nationwide streak, he was able to stretch his to 7 weeks after picking Elliott Sadler. He also picked Jimmie Johnson to start a new Cup streak and resulted in 49 points which was the high score of the week.
Lou Demian had the 2nd highest score with 47 points. He has a two week Cup streak and six week Nationwide streak going. He was able to add even more to his lead and now leads by 235 points. Looks like the championship is pretty much in the bag now. It hasn't been clinched just yet though. His competition could come from Kevin Sullivan if he is able to be perfect until the end of the season, especially add to his Nationwide streak which is currently at 6 weeks now. Lou would pretty much have to miss with the rest of his picks for that to happen though.
Chip Anglin had the third highest total with 45 points this week. He was able to move past Ray Perrotta who was a no-show this week to take 13th in the standings.
