Well, Kevin Sullivan was trying to tie the all-time cup streak of 8 weeks but Kyle Busch decided to end that hope. Kevin picked Busch who had some issues at Richmond and ended his 7 week streak.
There is still some hope of the record being broken because Paul Scannell was able to extend his streak to 7 weeks after picking Clint Bowyer. With his Nationwide streak going to 3 weeks, he scored a total of 63 points which was the high score of the week. It also gave him some more breathing room at the top of the standings, he now leads Greg Eichele by 37 points.
So the good news for Paul is that he'll be next to have the opportunity to tie the all-time cup streak. The bad news is that the next race will be at Talladega where you can make your picks with a dart board.
Ed Blackman had the 2nd most points this week with a total of 51. Ed also picked Clint Bowyer and Brian Vickers. He stays in 7th place but closes in on the other Blackman, Ron.
Chip Anglin had the third most points with 49 and gained 2 spots in the standings to move to 8th place.
As mentioned, next week will be at Talladega, so good luck with that!
