It was a mixed bag in terms of success at Michigan. The Cup series wasn't looking to pretty after Earnhardt's engine failure and Johnson hitting the wall late in the race. However things worked out for 7 members. The Nationwide race was a little kinder, but 5 members missed picks there. Only 3 individuals were successful in both races.
Randy Cook was one of those as he picked picked RCR drivers Kevin Harvick and Paul Menard. He now has a 2 week Cup streak and 7 week Nationwide streak. He also had the largest points total of the week with 62 points. He's been climbing through the standings lately and now moves up 2 spots to 4th place.
Lou Demian was one of many who took Earnhardt in the Cup series. His streak ended there but his Nationwide streak continued after picking race winner Regan Smith. That stretched his streak to 10 weeks which is the longest that anyone had gone in any of the series this year. He had the second highest points total with 60 points.
Stephen DiCaprio finished in 3rd place with 58 points. He picked race winner Greg Biffle and Paul Menard. He also gained one spot in the standings to move to 13th place.
