Once again as it has been the last several weeks, Lou Demian and Randy Cook have the two highest scores at Kentucky. Despite both missing with their Cup pick, they each set new weekly high scores. Lou Demian had the highest score with 99 points. It's his highest total since this time last year when he and Kevin Sullivan each rang off that long Nationwide streak of 16 weeks. After picking Brad Keselowski, Lou stretches his current streak to 12 weeks. It's the 2nd race in a row that he has picked the race winner. He also picked Keselowski in the Truck series to go to 4 weeks.
Last year his long streak helped win him the championship, can another repeat be in the works? Unfortunately for him next week is Daytona, the most unpredictable track. His streak ended last year at Daytona, we'll see if he has better luck this year.
Randy Cook is hoping that it ends and that he can make it through and gain some points. He scored a total of 94 points this week which is a career high for him. Randy also went to Keselowski-Keselowski route to stretch his Nationwide streak to 9 weeks and Truck streak to 6. He moved up a spot in the standings to take 3rd away from Greg Eichele. He'll look to take 2nd place next week if he can get through Daytona.
In a distant 3rd place is Ed Blackman who records 74 points this week. He now has a 3-4-4 week streak going and is looking to keep 2nd place and try to hold off Randy. Just 18 points separate the two. However, its 121 points behind the lead.
