Greg Biffle had an admonition for fellow Nextel Cup series driver Jimmie Johnson this week: "Please be careful."
Asked if he believed Johnson when he said he would give competitors more room this season, Biffle said: "He better or somebody is going to break his neck. He caused three restrictor-plate wrecks last year."
While NASCAR considers the use of restrictor plates a safety measure, the result is that cars race in tightly knit packs.
Biffle, who said he was likely just as guilty of having caused a wreck on a restrictor-plate track, added, "Gosh, you can't cause one at every race. I think he caused one at every race last year, and that's hard to do.
"After the second one, I'd be saying, 'Hey I'm not going to be around anybody.' "
For God's sake Jimmie.... watch what you're doing... lol Stay away from the 48!!! Heck, I figured I'll be the first to post a controversial post for the new year.
