Wow..... Randy Cook came oh so close to ending the Cup streak curse and finally reaching 9 weeks. Randy picked Kevin Harvick who looked like he would finish in the top 10 for most of the race but his care began to fade later. After the final pitstop he was inside the top 10 but fell just outside to finish in 11th place. One spot away from making it to 9 weeks, that close. Instead the curse continued and ended Randy's streak for the first time this season. He'll have to settle for a tied record with a number of other members.
So because Randy ended his streak, he didn't have the largest points total this week. That honor went to Tory Wiggins who scored a total of 72 points. Troy is now tied for the longest running cup streak at 4 weeks after picking Kyle Busch. He also extended his Nationwide streak to 7 weeks. He also gained 2 spots in the standings to move to 5th place.
Ray Perrotta is the other member with a 4 week Cup streak and he is also tied for the longest running Nationwide streak at 8 weeks. He had the 2nd highest score of 71 points and moved past Dean Higley to 2nd place in the standings.
Greg Eichele is the player tied with Ray Perrotta with an 8 week Nationwide streak, he also has a 2 week Cup streak. He has the 3rd highest score with 64 points.
