ROTY - well, at least this year will be a real battle unlike the farce we had last year..........with respect to Kyle Busch he only had to beat out a guy who isn't even racing in Nascar's top two divisions this year, Kvapil. No this year it will be very interesting with my heart and my head telling me that it will be Truex narrowly over Bowyer for top Rookie honors in '06.
AllStar - Brian Vickers wins this year. How? you ask, he will have two wins already and thus will be in the show.
Daytona 500 - was going to name the three who have the best chance at it, but since we havent picked this race yet, it wouldn't be right. hints? Tool-Belt, Elvis, and SweetTooth
Chase Drivers - Who really knows at this point? But I'll give it my best shot. Dale Jr., Kyle Busch, Jeff Gordon, Kevin Harvick, Tony Stewart, Ryan Newman, Dale Jarrett, Kurt Busch, Matt Kenseth and my surprise pick.......Bobby Labonte.

bold predictions.... not picking Jimmie Johnson or Greg Biffle in the chase???
I think DJ will have a pretty good year but he won't make the chase. Take out DJ and Busch and put in Biffle and Johnson for me. Harvick will make the chase and give RCR its first chase driver.
Champion? As much as I would love it, I think Jr. will have a top 5 finish but Biffle will take the championship and become the first driver to win a championship in all three of the top divisions.
Not saying my Daytona 500 picks for obvious reasons, but you can see them after Thursday!
It's pretty funny to look back on these at the end of the season. I know it isn't the end of the season yet... but take a look compared to what actually happened.
