Last year's inaugural season of the Manufacturer Challenge turned out to be a close battle between Don Hardison and Marvin Jones at the end of the season. Towards the end of the year there was a discussion on changes to make so there will be a significant one.
In 2015 you are now only allowed to use a driver once per season in each of the three series. This is going to bring a whole new strategy into the game and we should see a lot of different picks.
Like last year the season will alternate between the Cup, Xfinity and Truck series each week. This year we have 2 extra weeks for a total of 40.
You will still pick one driver from each of the three manufacturers, Chevy, Ford and Toyota but once you pick them in that series, you can't use them again for the year. You can still pick that driver if he is in a different series that you haven't picked him in yet.
I have updated the page on Lucky Dog Racing's site to reflect these new changes. The points section looks the same, but I had to make the schedule/picks page larger since I will have to write driver's names instead of numbers in there. This is because with drivers in the Xfinity and Truck series, drivers switch around a lot, so you're not going to remember what driver is in what car. I also added the colors to easily identify what race the picks are for.
Since I realize that picks page is probably a little intimidating and might be hard to follow further into the season, I've created a link under that to view the drivers that you have already used this year. Hopefully that should be handy to view.
So, there you go... should be interesting to say the least.
