After Jeff Gordon retired, so will I. It has been alot of fun racing here at LDR. I have had success in the Cup and Infinity series, but never had much luck in the Truck series. Lou runs a top notch league and Its time for me to retire. I have been a NASCAR fan for nearly 50 years and I am not happy with the current state and condition of NASCAR. I remember when drivers actually raced, and rivalries were fierce. Now the drivers have pretty much "cookie cutter" cars. I am not a fan of just watching cars go around and around, and then race the last 10 laps. The current new crop of drivers are spoiled brats who no longer have to earn their dues. NASCAR itself, with Brian France leading the way, is in a sad state. Rules mean nothing. It just depends on who you are, and if you are liked. Could you imagine if they tried to suspend Dale Earnhardt Sr. for crashing someone? Attendance is declining at every event. TV contracts need help as NBC has put some of their races on a channel some people dont get. Overall, the excitement is gone. Congratulations to this years Champions!! Thank you Lou for the opportunity to be a part of your game for many years. Maybe someday down the road, if I can find another driver to get behind, and Brian France is gone, I may return. Good Luck to all and enjoy the holidays!!

Thanks John, sad to see you go. You've been with us for a long time, 9 seasons actually. Sad to see you go but if a sport doesn't interest you any longer than I guess its time to hang it up and give someone with a lot of passion for it a chance to play. Maybe we'll see you return back to us someday, you'll be welcome.
Thanks John for the years of races here in Lucky Dog Racing.
I haven't been a fan of NASCAR as long as John but, I hear what you are saying John.
NASCAR is not the same. When I first started watching it was all about the Cup Series and now I find myself enjoying the Xfinity & Truck Series races more. Don't seem as much drama in those two series.
Thanks for spending the time you have with us and good luck in all your travels
Have a great time with your family over the holidays and the welcoming mat is always here for you

John, I hear what you are saying. Before this year, I was glued to the TV every Nascar race. I watched less live racing this year than I ever have. The sport is headed downhill. The races are too long, the rules are inconsistent, and the races are boring. I yearn for the old days. Maybe that speaks to my age, but Nascar ain't what it used to be.
