The 2016 season started with a full field at Daytona, a total of 19 players. That was the most players in a single week since the 3rd week of the 2013 season. Hopefully everyone who played in the first week will stick around for the season.
It's very difficult to pick top 10 drivers in restrictor plate racing, but there were 3 players who were successful in all three race. Greg Eichele scored the most points with 34 so he starts the season on top of the standings. He went with Kyle Busch, Chase Elliott and Matt Crafton.
Right behind Greg is Janet Sebern who makes her debut in the streak game. She scored 33 points and chose Kyle Busch, Logano and Crafton.
The third player was Randy Cook who scored 32 points. He took Hamlin, Austin Dillon and Crafton.
5 more players were successful in 2 out of the 3 races, 7 players were lucky with just one race and 3 players struck out for the weekend.
Next up is Atlanta which should hopefully be a little easier to pick.
