Week 5 Results - Auto Club Speedway

Merline Glenn records the high score of the week for the first time this season. Merline recorded 51 points after picking Kevin Harvick and Daniel Suarez. She was able to stretch her Cup streak to 4 weeks and her Xfinity streak to 3 weeks. She was also able to gain 3 spots to move all the way up to 2nd place in the standings, 20 points behind Ray Perrotta. If she can keep her streaks going next week, she may be leading the points for the first time ever.

Lou Demian and Will Riney tied for 2nd place with 45 points each. Both took Johnson and Harvick. Their Xfinity streaks of 5 weeks are currently the longest running the league. Will moves up to 5th place and Lou moves up to 8th. 

next week all series are off but we'll return the following week with the Cup and Truck series in Martinsville.

Ahh bummer... just discovered that Merline Glenn picked Harvick for 2 weeks in a row, so that killed her score for the week. Instead of moving up to 2nd place, she falls down to 7th. Make sure to check your streaks before making picks!

 

So that gives Lou Demian and Will Riney the top scores for the week. Will moved up to 4th place. Defending champion, Stephen DiCaprio is now in 2nd and Greg Eichele falls to 3rd. 

Terry Howell now has the 3rd highest score of the week with 35 points.
