For the first time since week 4, we have a new points leader. Ray Perrotta had been battling with Greg Eichele for quite some time, but there's a new player in town. After extending his Xfinity streak to 15 weeks, Dean Higley overtakes both Greg and Ray and now sits on top of the standings for the first time this year. Dean broke his Cup streak but recorded a total of 81 points after picking Trevor Bayne in the Xfinity race. Now Dean is just one week away from tying the all-time record of 16 weeks in the Xfinity series. He'll have the chance to become the 5th different player to do so this weekend in Mid-Oho.
Dean had a great score but it wasn't the top score for the week, instead that went to Lou Demian who recorded 97 points. He was successful with both of his picks after choosing Joey Logano and Kyle Larson. His Cup streak is now 4 weeks and Xfinity streak 12 weeks. He also gained a spot in the standings to climb to 4th place.
Kevin Sullivan took 3rd place with 77 points. He now has a one weke Cup streak and 11 week Xfinity streak. He also climbed 2 spots to 7th place.
