Well Ray Perrotta's Xfinity series streak had to end sooner or later and it came to end at Kansas. Ray had the chance to become the 2nd player to tie the record this season but fell one week short after picking Justin Allgaier. That guarantees that the record that was set in 2013 will not be broken this year.
Luckily Ray was able to be successful in the Cup race so he did score some points this week, a total of 16. With 5 weeks to go, he now has a very healthy lead of 310 points.
Ron Blackman scores the most points this week with a total of 53. He was successful in both series and now inherits the current longest running Xfinity streak of 7 weeks.
Gary Wheat took 2nd with 41 points and Greg Eichele 3rd with 38 points. Greg has closed within 7 points of Dean Higley for 2nd place but doesn't look like he'd be able to catch Ray before the end of the year.
