Talladega proved to be another challenge for those trying to keep their streaks going. The Cup race was harder than the Xfinity race, only 8 members got away with their streaks intact. One of those players was Gary Wheat who picked Kurt Busch to extend his streak to 5 weeks. He was also successful in the Xfinity race after picking Erik Jones and extending his streak there to 9 weeks. Gary now takes over the points lead after Eldon Daughenbaugh struck out in both races. He now falls back to 2nd place.

Gary is tied with Kevin Sullivan, Terry Howell and Stephen DiCaprio with the longest running streaks so of course they all have the top scores for the week.

Kevin took 2nd place with 60 points and holds in 4th place. He went with Keselowski and Erik Jones. 

Terry Howell missed with his Cup pick but picked Joey Logano in the Xfinity race to score 53 points. He also gained 2 spots in the standings to move to 8th place.
