Yikes... that was messy. Daytona was nearly impossible to pick and saw nearly everyone's streak end. Nobody was successful in the Cup race, all streaks ended including Gary Wheat who was trying to extend his record streak to 12 weeks. He'll keep the record of 11 weeks which will probably last awhile.
The Xfinity race was kinder to everyone, mostly because Joey Logano was heavily picked. However most people had a zero streak so they weren't able to gain much points. The only player that had a streak going already was Scott Yost who extended it to 6 weeks. He finished with the high score of the week with just 33 points.
Jessy Turgeon and newcomer Robert Krohn finished with the second highest score of 15 points after picking race winner William Byron.
10 players scored 8 points after picking Joey Logano
4 players struck out in both races.
Everyone is close to being on equal ground in the Cup and Xfinity series again as we continue on to Kentucky. The Truck series will come into play though.
