How about Jr's run at Martinsville?

Can you believe the way that care looked during the race that it was capable of running on the lead lap, much less to finish in 4th place??

Awesome run by Jr. That goes to show you how much of a changed team that is this year. Last year, they probably wouldn't have had a chance after getting wrecked that early in the race.

That was like old time racing there, when his old man used to take torn up machines like that to victory lane.

I was hoping he would win the race just because that would have made one cool looking piece of race worn diecast!

I was wishing for that diecast all day myself!!!!

Although, let's be honest, he did run that well because his car was torn up.  He never had to worry about running too hard because there was plenty of air getting to his brakes and thus the tire problems were never an issue for him.  Not his problem that it worked out that way though, he just got caught up in other people's mess early on and it worked out for him.

Now, coming back from the second wreck was a show of how well his team works now. The 'toe' in the car was all screwed up and yet he still got all the way to the kellogg kid who wants to pass everyone and got passed by ol' JuneBug.
