Labonte hasn't had a top 5 at Texas since 2000, and so far he has yet to impress me this season.
With him being in danger of falling out of the top 35 in points, he better be able to muster something this weekend, or it's going to be the start of a long season for him.
On a related note, how cool is it going to be to STP back on the #43 car for 2 races this year? He better have good finishes in those 2 races!
Yeh, STP is gonna be sweet on the hood. Ive already got it as the background of my computer. But you can't say he hasn't done anything, Jeff Green could hardly muster top 20's with those cars. Bobby is qualifying them up there in top 10 and running them up there. the finishes and points just dont show where he has run. Top 5 at bristol, first top 5 in 5 years for that car. Yes he hasnt had luck at texas in the past 6 years but its a lot like atlanta, where he led this year, and he qualified 10th. If he qualifies well, watch out in the race. And i still think top 3. So long as the car can keep up.
but i got to believe kyle petty isnt trying. Now way that the two cars are that far apart, and furthermore, if you ever notice him comin toward the front he backs off. But the 43 team will be in victory lane befor the end of the year
