After Talladega ended a lot of streaks, a lot of players are starting new ones at Dover. Also, the Truck series returned this week and it benefitted those that had streaks going in that series. One of them was Robert Keplinger who had a 5 week Truck streak. He was able to stretch it to 6 and added a 2 week Cup and Xfinity streak which gave him 79 points. That was the high score of the week. His picks included race winners Truex and Sauter along with 2nd place Allgaier.
Robert holds in 4th place and gained just a little bit of ground on Ray Perrotta who had the 2nd highest score of 73 points. Ray has a 4-4-3 streak going currently.
Gary Wheat finished in 3rd place with 61 points and was able to gain 1 spot to move to 15th.
The biggest mover of the week was Al Allison who gained 3 spots to climb to 7th.
Points leader Lou Demian added a little bit to his lead over Jessy Turgeon and now leads by 42 points.
Well, scratch that.... I just discovered that Robert Keplinger picked Sauter 2 races in a row so that nullifies his Truck points. Instead of 79 points received for the week, he just receives 39.
Ray Perrotta finishes 1st, Gary Wheat 2nd and now Lou Demian finishes 3rd with 59 points.
Just another reminder to check your current streaks!
