We are going to have one of our closest championship battles that is going to go down to the final week of the season. Things got very interesting in Kansas as points leader Dean Higley failed to score any points in all three races. His point lead is now just 25 points over Kevin Sullivan and Stephen DiCaprio. Kevin could have taken over the led but he missed with two of his three picks and only scored 13 points. As a result, Stephen DiCaprio was able to tie Kevin after recording 50 points for the week. 

It was Jessy Turgeon who scored the most points with 74. He picked Truex, Jones and Moffitt and it allowed him to close within 5 points of 5th place. 

Cup series winner Eldon Daughenbaugh record the 2nd mots points with 64. He went with Harvick, Briscoe and Moffitt. 

Terry Howell and Gary Wheat shared 3rd place with 56 points each.
