Well, unlucky for Dean Higley he is just the 2nd player to be passed in the final week and lose out on the championship. In 2011 Gary Wheat passed Lou Demian to win by 13 points and this year Terry Howell was able to beat Dean any win by 14 points. Terry scored a total of 55 points with his picks which was enough to beat Dean despite missing with his Cup pick. Dean missed with his Truck pick of Grant Enfinger. If he had been able to keep all three streaks intact then he probably would have been able to hold off Terry.

This is the first time that Terry has won the championship in the streak to the finish. Last season he finished down in 13th place so it's a big improvement. Terry will now get a special gift, an award on his page and he'll get an invitation to the LROC series which would be just his 2nd appearance.

The entire top 5 changed in the final week, Dean Higley dropped to 2nd place, Lou Demian gained a spot to finish 3rd, Kevin Sullivan moved a spot to 4th and Stephen DiCaprio dropped two spots to 5th.

The high score of the week was Eldon Daughenbaugh with 89 points. Eldon picked Logano, Allgaier and Creed and finished the season with streaks of 7, 5 and 1 week. He also gained one spot to finish 9th.

Terry Howell finished 2nd with 55 points and last year's champion, Ray Perrotta finished 3rd with 54 points. Ray finished this year in 8th place.

This year's longest cup streak ended up being 9 weeks by Stephen DiCaprio and Jessy Turgeon. The longest Xfinity streak was 11 weeks by Dean Higley. The longest Truck streak was 7 weeks also by Dean Higley.

The biggest points weekly total was 90 points by Kevin Sullivan in week 23. This is the lowest high score of the season since we started running three series in 2009. It's the only time that nobody had scored more than 100 points.
