Bet that caught your attention, didn't it? Actually, coming to an end isn't the right term... a rebirth is more like it. The only thing that will be coming to an end is the name of the site.
I decided to switch to a web hosting service.... not the crappy geocities anymore. I'm paying a premium service on geocities on two sites, for $4.95 each. I only get 25 mb space on each, 10gb bandwith per month on both. Now For $8.95 a month I can get 500 mb space, 30 gb bandwith, my own domain name, a cgi bin, perl script service, plus so much more that geocities could never supply without paying an arm and a leg. So it was pretty much a no-brainer to switch. Should've done it awhile ago.
So since the domain redzoneracing.com is already taken, I'll be switching the name of the site eventually. I'll be building it within the next few months, probably giving it a whole new look as well. The site will still be run the same, it will still be free, not much about the operation will change. However, it will be bigger and better. So, that's just something to look forward to in the next few months.
You definitely got my attention, I thought the league was ending, I was bummed. Then I read the post to see that the name would be changing and the new website would have many more capabilities than the present one. WHEW!!! You really had me worried.
Thanks again for all of your effort in making this league so interesting and enjoyable.
Well I know you would never end this great site that you are running. This site is the best and Lou is running a great one. Nascar is awsome!!!! If I could do something like that on my website I would join up with Lou some how. Well If this was to end my Daughter would be upset big time..
Trapt Racing is going to be the champion at the end of the year... Look out for me..........
If anyone into football, check out my website. I am running one thsi year only $5.00 for the year top 3 are winners. I have so fat 26 players.. if you have any friends that are into football pick'em let them check out my website.
Well, I'd be more concerned with getting back into the top 10 before making a crack at the championship
Thanks for your kind words though.
I have to get used to the new file system that the new site uses. A lot different than Geocities. It will probably take me awhile to create the new site. I do have a name for it, but I'm not gonna reveal it yet. Depending on how smoothly the transition goes, it will turn over to the new site in a few months, or I may just wait until the end of the season. I want to design a whole new site with a new look and feel. In the meantime, everything will continue to run here just the same.
