Would you pay over a $100 for an autograph from one of your favorite football players? Yikes... just got an email from upcoming signings at local BC Sports stores. Eli Manning and Tiki Barber are both gonna be at local malls but tickets go for $99 for a photo or mini helmet signed or $119 for jerseys, footballs and helmets. Then you have to go and buy the item as well. And you can't even take a picture of the player either.
That's just nuts. Hey, I like them and all but there's no way I'd go to that extreme.
That's one of the perks about getting NASCAR driver autographs.... most of them you can always get for free.
I have close to 30 NASCAR driver autographs and I don't think any of them cost me a dime just for the autograph.
Oh, Here are a list of signings if you are interested:
Nascar drivers do the same thing as well..........those sponsership tents that everyone covets, that's how you get into them with $100 ticket.
on the flipside, you can get a ball player to sign for free as well. It all depends on if you want it easy (pay for it), or do you want to run around and earn it albeit its free.
Now is the best time to get free autographs from football players. Training camps are open and most of the time you can get really close to them to sign something for you. It helps too if you have a kid with the players jersey on them. I rent my boys out to local Bucs fans who want to have Chris Simms sign their jerseys. I think he is on to us so next week we are going to switch to Derrick Brooks, then Ronde Barber.
