You may or may not know of the last week's events, but there is now a vacancy on the council that needs to be filled as soon as possible.
The council will accept all submissions for teams to become members for consideration. Your favorite driver is not an issue to us. Do you submit your picks regularly? Are you active in the boards? Do you have problem solving skills? Are you a good communicator? Where is your passion level or commitment to this league stand?
All of these are questions we will ask ourselves in a vote, but it is not required to meet all of them.
Any teams interested to be thrown into the mix can notify us on this post or through emails or private messages. Any council member can bring your name up if you feel more comfortable with one more than the other.
If you're not interested but know of a team that would be a great fit, nominate them instead.
After the council receives interested teams submissions of why they think they would be a good fit for the council, we will compare those to teams we are currently interested in and have a vote.
Majority rules with one spot up for grabs. Good Luck to everyone.
Well for one I would vote honestly no matter my personal thoughts. I would (if my vote counted) take a minute to absorb the issue and do what I thought best regardless of other votes. I'd be first and formost "fairand just". ( In my best jugdement) Thats all I can offer, nothing more..nothing less.

Well I'm gonna send out a notice of the open council position with the next email for the upcoming race. Not everyone comes in to read the official posts, but they should!
Ill put Will Riney in the mix. How about you John, aka Galaxy, we need some one to keep us in check with our spelling and grammar. I told my secretary about you and she got pissed thought you were trying to put her out of work! But I think we have to get this done.
Shawn, although he could be a total pain, often had good points and views. The problem was that he went totally in the wrong way with them. He had every right to being up the issue of my picks to the council and vote on them. I may not have agreed with him, but he was in his right. However, after the council voted on the issue, and Shawn was in the minority, he should have accepted it and moved on. That didn't happen and you saw how childish he started acting. That led him to eventually quitting. The issue regarding my picks should not have even been broadcast all over the boards anyway.... I wanted the discussion between council members. Shawn felt differently about it, and maybe did it to try and get some members on his side, who knows. If I had starting deleting his posts, I would have been accused of keeping things from the league, hiding the truth, or whatever. Either way, it was a lose-lose situation and everyone suffered in the end.
I would like a council member who isn't a "yes man", but knows his limitations if things don't work out the way he wants. He... or she.... shouldn't be afraid to give oposing views or new perspectives to issues. The member should also be very active in the league, posting on a regular basis, know all the rules of the league, take a great interest in the league and be very communicative as well.
Well Lou I want to be on the up and up and I've agreed to help Shawn with the Hockey league. Hopefully that will not effect the consuels vote today. Can't we all just get along? Seriously. I just wanted to play some fantasy hockey. Peace
