For those of you keeping score at home,(and I know you are) Samuel Adams' Octoberfest took home the gold medal this past weekend at the Great American Beer Festival at Denver. Beating 45 other entries in the German-Style Marzen field.  Over 41,000(new attendence record) of my fellow beer brothers were on hand for the second best weekend of the year. Where else can you find 2402 different beers to sample? I'll have to make a special trip this weekend just to pick up a case of this award winning brew. Cheers!
