Jeff Gordon did it twice before. Mark Martin did it last night. HOW CAN YOU NOT KNOW TO JUST RUN YOUR PIT ROAD (NOT BOTH) ON GREEN FLAG PIT STOPS!?!?!?!?!..........I mean its been like this, there is a huge difference in 30mph and 120 mph....why would you knock yourself out of contention with such a stupid mistake? all three times, the driver had a car that could have won the race. Just dumb.............................but im glad ---- #8 in Victory Lane again!
(i predicted in preseason that Jr. would win five races this year, Gordon might have got there first, but he's only one away, if not more!)
Dumb mistakes I guess. I'm surprised Martin did that last night with the amount of times that he's run there. Oh well, live and learn I guess. Don't expect him to do that again.... Although Jeff Gordon did it twice, so who knows.
I was very happy to see Jr. in victory lane again, he definately needed that to give his team a real boost.
There are 5 upcoming tracks that Jr. has won on before, and 4 in the chase for the championship. However, this year Jr. is winning on tracks thats he's never won on before, like Atlanta and Bristol. He definately stands a good chance at winning 5 or more races. Hopefully he can keep a good momentum going in those final 10 races and win the championship this year.
I hate those dumb mistakes- like trying to eat a ghost on pacman, but the ghost just had turned back to his original self-and with only a few points to go to get that free man. At least there is Space Invaders.
Yes that is so dumb of the drivers to do that, charge him $10,000 for mistakes. the Sponsors much get upset about it, they pay them to win the race not to lost the race
actually, sponsers could care less if the drivers win or not.........look at M. Waltrip (i know i pick on him alot)........all they care about is TV time .....they want their car to be on camera and their driver in the interviews after the race so we can see them chug their 'favorite' drink.......granted, alot of times those go hand in hand but what the sponsers care about is getting their product name out there.
