Lou this is simple. If we can't race in the kiddypool well no poolers here. They've had all winter to deal with this issue but yet here we go again. Getting rid of IROC too after I finally qualified! This is pure and simple "childs play". (yet again). I've backed Greg right up till now.

Well there are quite a few players that race in both leagues so I am definately not going to tell people they have to choose sides, that would be just nuts. Some leagues out there act in that kind of behavior but we are above that here.
LROC will still be run, but it will just be for LDR members. I will have to decide on the new format before the start of the season.
I agree on not penalisizing "all". But why would you have to leave when all this was "worked" out. Either Greg needs to stand by his "word" and take control of his league and stand up for you or lets just nip it in the bud. Fair is fair..period. Seems simple to me. I mean, why is this an issue now? Would love to here Gregs responce to this. All racers should definitely not be penalized though. Is this just you or are all Lders? Unfortunately this looks like an all or nothing issue.

Apparantly Will and the other Rineys including Mark Walraven don't want me there for some reason.
Things were worked out, or so I thought, but this just came out of the blue last night. Greg doesn't want me there, agreed that the LROC series should end between the two leagues, but wants to remain here.... does that make sense? Why, so he can win more money? I think not.... if ties are going to be broken then all ties should be broken. So far the majority of the council sees things the same way.
Looks like we will definately be having a new champion this year.
Also.. I don't care if he thinks being a 2 time "champ" gives him the right to be here. I myself don't check "those" sites and think you should avoid going to their forums as well. Let them play their game. They can have their opions of LD, this is America. PersonallyI have my opions to but don't flatter them with even getting involved. Turn this board private again. I noticed the other night, 10 guests and only 2 members. They obviously still have an interest here or they wouldn't come to see whats being said. Lders have shown much more "class" by not even mentioning those two inferior sites as as gentlemen we agreed to. I guess "some peoples "word" is as worthless as what I just flushed down my tiolet. ( Guess, that should take all grey area out my my thoughts on this. I shouldn't be so shy.) And trust me, this post is the nice version of what I think about this.

While I agree with actions taken this weekend and in fact voted for ending any semblence of a partnership the 'totally-cool kiddy leagues', I am saddened that this carried over into the message boards again.
I thought we had, as a Council, determined that we would not air out problems in the boards anymore. If any team wants to know whats going on, they can always email one of us and just ask......this will avoid cluttering up the site with this garbage for the teams that wish not to hear anything about it.
Well said Tooz. I enjoy participating in both The Cool Pool and Lucky Dog but the childish posts I constantly see on both sites is what keeps me away from these forums usually.
Stephen.... I don't blame you. I know it's been rough for members on the forum the last few months.
I can not guarantee anything, but I think with the ties broken between the management of both leagues, it should be a much better season. I'm glad this all came to light before the season began.
We should all get back to talking about racing soon instead of arguing back and forth.
