Just want to keep everyone up to date on the status of monies contributed.
We were able to raise some money for Victory Junction Gang Camp and was all set to donate until we weren't able to accept some money due to not having a bank account linked to the Paypal account. Originally, we didn't want to hook a bank account up to the Paypal account to alleviate fears of donating. Paypal requires a bank account though and we are in the process of setting one up. Three teams contributed and they have been contacted about these details. All money will be donated to the Victory Junction Gang Camp as soon as possible. The good news however is that this will no longer be a problem in the future so on the next donation deadline, we will be able to hand the money over promptly.
Again, just wanted to let anyone know about this situation if you may have been wondering. And thank you to the teams that contributed this time around. You will receive a copy of the email receipt once the money has been transferred.
Thanks for the update Matt... I know this has been kind of frustrating, but it looks to be getting cleared up now. Too bad paypal couldn't have made things more easier, oh well.
Hey, give me a heads up on the next collection, maybe a few weeks in advance. I'll toss 40-50 bucks in. Do we get a reciept to write off on taxes? Either way I'm in.

Three times during the year, we will tally up all the donations by members and submit them to the Camp in the name of Lucky Dog Racing. Those three times are at the start of the season, April 29th (Dale Earnhardt's birthday) and July 10th (Adam Petty's birthday).
Ok, that was a little harder than I originally thought it would be. After collecting the funds, I went to donate only to find out that the Camp doesn't accept Paypal like we thought it would. I just transferred the funds from one account to my personal one, which of course has a credit card linked to it, and then it was easy to send the money to Victory Junction Gang Camp. It only took a matter of minutes, but in the future if our donation drive grows immensely, then the donation time may expand to about a week depending on the fund amount. (time to allow the funds to physically be moved from one account to the other). Once again thank you to the teams involved and I hope to see more teams donate on the next date. Remember, no donation too big or too small! Lou will post the teams that donated on the site after he determines whether or not they want to remain anonymous.
