Might have to come up with your own IROC Series. Pick some Cup races, some Busch races, and some Truck Races and go at it. Set your own point system and drivers to use. Just a thought.
That's a great idea!....IROC season should be canceled within the month now.....after that LuckyDog could implement Nathan's plan above. Of course IF Iroce comes back next year, you could always revert to using their races.
Nathan emailed me this proposed schedule, I don't see a problem with it.
1) 03/16 Atlanta American Commercial Lines 200(Trucks) 2) 04/28 Talladega Aaron's 312(Busch) 3) 05/27 Charlotte Coca-Cola 600(Cup) 4) 06/08 Texas Sam's Town 400 (Trucks) 5) 06/16 KentuckyMeijer 300 Presented by Oreo (Busch) 6) 06/24 Sears Point Toyota / Save Mart 350 (Cup) 7) 07/27 IRP Power Stroke Diesel 200 Presented by Ford and International(Trucks) 8) 08/11 Watkins Glen Zippo 200 (Busch) 9)10/07 TalladegaUAW-Ford 500 (Cup)
I also emailed the guy over at P10 Select, so I'll see if we wants to participate it. If not, we'll just keep it in-house this year. I just need to change some things on the old LROC site and then we should be good to go.

Even when and if IROC returns, why don't we have an expanded season??
We could run all 4 IROC races, but we could run others in the Cup, Busch and Truck series as well.
Heck, I wouldn't even mind throwing in a few Indy and F1 races in to really mix it up next year.
I really liked Nathan's schedule.......until you mentioned about the races from other series.
In an ideal season, you would have: 4 IROC races (maybe) 1 Cup Race (Charlotte) 1 Busch Race (IRP) 1 Truck Race (?) 1 F-1 Race (Montreal) 1 IRL Race (Indy 500) 1 Champ Car Race (?) 1 USAC Race (?) 1 NHRA Race (?) 1 SuperCross Race (I know its bikes, but that could be the true wild card race)
now, seeing that I picked all those, maybe just the 9 that aren't IROC races since they most likely won't happen anyway. Remember the premise of IROC was to get drivers from different series, so why not in LROC have races from each series?

I have no say in this, but my opinion is that since the alliance with the 'other' league has been dissolved, the teams that earned spots through that league wouldn't have an automatic bid. No offense to Lefflerfan or any of the other teams. Its not a personal issue, just if LuckyDog changed the qualifiying requirements to Cup, Busch, and Truck teams, there isnt much room for them unless those teams filled a Fourth division of LROC maybe. I'm glad I don't have to make that decision either way. Again, no offense, just voicing my opinion.
Well if were going to add other series, I'd take it slow first.... maybe add one new series a year. I'd say add 3 INDY races this year for a total of 12 races in the season. Maybe even the INDY 500.
I was only thinking of the way they select the drivers, most are Nascar drivers, then one or two from each other series.....thats how I came up with those races, but F1 deserves to be selected the first year if you chose to go with races from other series.

Stephen.... just to let you know, I sent an email to Greg over at The Cool Pool asking if he would want to participate in this series. I have put all bygones aside on my part. You could only represent TCP in LROC since you got in based on your performance there. If he doesn't want any part of it, you will have to wait until next year to see if you can get in for Lucky Dog. I have one league that is just about confirmed to be taking part in it, and waiting to hear from a 2nd one. This could someday develop into a multi-league series.
Believe it or not, I actually asked Victory Lane if they would like to participate, but they declined.
