The series is being prepared for its new season, however at this point its still unclear if anyone will be competing against Lucky Dog Racing this year. The one league that had expressed some interest in competing against will not be. This is because that league is under a totally different format. I thought it was a picks league, like ours but instead they are a real racing league.... they race on the Xbox against each other. So that wouldn't work here obviously.
I have contacted the owner of P10Select but have yet to hear back from him. I don't know if he's on vacation maybe. Since the first race is coming up soon, I'll have to hear back from him by next week. I'm also looking for some other leagues out there who might be interested, but no luck yet.
If we do not find anyone by this weekend, we will just keep the LROC series in-house this year and look to find a worthy competitor by next season. If any league member knows of a good league out there who would like to compete against us, please ask them or tell me and I will contact them. thanks!
Also.... last season me and Greg were talking about awarding the LROC champion a cash prize this year. We would have split the bill. This was before the whole thing fell apart between both leagues. Therefore, I have decided to fund the series myself. The winner will receive $25.00 plus of course the respect of being the champion.
I am waiting until this weekend before I decide on the other 6 drivers... whether they are from this league or another league.

Sorry, you'll have to wait until next year's LROC series to have a chance. This year's entries are based on last year's performance.
Looks like P10 Select is now starting to stir with getting their 6 members for the Series. I posted that they will need to get them set up soon since the first race is coming up shortly. However, we can possibly push it back a week or two if needed.
P10Select is still in process of getting their members selected. If I do not have the names of the drivers by tomorrow, I will delay the start of the LROC season for the next Truck race which would be March 31st. This will give us ample time to get everything set up. I will make a decision by tomorrow regarding this.
All 6 Lucky Dog Racing members have been contacted and all have given their consent to play this year.
Hey Lou Since the Coolpool isnt going to be in the IROC race this year are you considering adding some of us in the IROC race if we are also luckydog members. How about the 2006 IROC champion Sullivan Smashers, just to let you know that i am interested if you get the IROC league up and running..
Kevin, If we didn't get another league competing against us this year, I was going to add the three players from the other league that would have been elligible, plus 3 additional ones.
However, it looks like we will get another league in, so we will have to leave the 6 Lucky Doggers that were already elligible and add the 6 from the other league. It wouldn't be fair to add extra guys from our league, and I don't want to change the rules regarding the amount of players from each league.
I feel bad that those players are being shut out of LROC, however that's because of the decision of the other league. They were extended the invitation to play and declined.
Kevin, I once again asked the owner of the other league to allow his members to play in it. He has once again denied them the opportunity to do so. Apparently he can not put things in the past and let his own members compete in a good series.
Therefore since you are the defending LROC champion, I will give you my slot. Unfortunately Stephen DiCaprio and Rene Nadeau who also would have been invited to the LROC Series this year under that other league have been shut out. I apologize to the two of them.
Hello. This is JG4TMR from the P-10 SELECT Racing League. I would like to thank Lou and Steve (p-10 president) for the opportunity to race aginst Lucky Dog Racing this year. Hello to each of you LROC competitors. I am scrbowler, president, owner, head flunkie or whatever you want to call me at P10 Select Fantasy Racing. It is an honor to be invited to compete against the Lucky Dog Racing champions. Thank you for the invitation and challenge to our league. I am confident in the members of our P10 Select group who are a definition of our leagues vetrans and past champions. We will have in place a formula to assign next years LROC members just as the Lucky Dog Racing league does so that the top tier competitors from the previous season can showcase their talents versus the best from the other league.
