Ford TUFF Motorsports, a new Busch and Truck team this year, (also my brother) seems to think Ford actually has a chance this year in taking the championship. (Funny isn't it?)
Anyway, he proposed a bet. $50, pick a race team, not a driver to win the Cup Championship this year. Of course, he goes with a Ford team, Roush, so if any of those drivers wins it all, then he pockets the winnings. Naturally, I took the bold move, if not fool-hearty, and picked DEI. That leaves alot of teams still to be snagged up if anyone is interested. Winner takes the whole pot!
So, Ford TUFF picks Roush. June Bug picks DEI. Kalamazoo picks Gibbs.

Hendrick (speed bump, where are you?) Penske (John, still feel like Newman is the man?) Ginn (Martin finally left that crappy team) Wood Brothers (hey, it could happen) Ganassi (Moonnnntooooyyaaaaa) Bill Davis (Blaney is the MAN) Evernham (Kahne and Sadler, nice duo) RCR (do we have any Harvick and Burton fans?) and of course, the also rans.
50 bucks isnt going to be much of a pot . where is all the swagger from earlier ? been a few days and only tooz has stepped up to the plate and even picked a true underdog . kind of what i expected . maybe a few of you secretly pull for ford anyway or at least dont want to bet against them , smart move . i figured surely someone would gain a little false confidence after jimmies win sunday guess we'll have to wait and see
Not a betting guy. But if i had to I would go with RCR I think Burton is a man on a mission. He has found a home and has his eye on the prize. Tooz is the bravest of all admitting Fordtuff is KIN!
lets see RCR, Hendrick, Everham, Gibbs............all still out there. I guess everybody talks a good game but thats it.
Lets let it ride until after this week's race, if no one steps up Ford PUFF motors, then I guess we would have to just see who finishes in a higher position.........JR. or your scrubs.
I would bet a pair of Manolo Blahnic's (Brooch Thong Sandal, Neiman Marcus) new springline shoe's that it will be a Chevy to win. And that Chevy would be driven by a Gibbs Driver. Cant beat Zippy and Smoke. Its really going to come down to seeing what team had the money for the COT and how the drivers can handle the cars. I can tell you this, nothin pisses me off more than JJ or J-go winning, I have been bitchy all week because of it I just really wanted Tony or Jr to win that one. But the way the season is going, i will be lucky to come in last an not be minus points.
well, I have Truex it seems......Ford T. has Edwards and Kenseth and Kikie has been gone since almost the beginning of the season. Too bad the rest of you didnt jump on the Gibbs and Hendrick bandwagon!
