my dilemma, I've been waiting for QVC to pop those diecast displays back up on the show, For Race Fans Only, but when they finally did, they were driver specific, and I'm not about to get a full-blown red one to sit in the living room, the misses would never go for that.
So, in my desperation, I sought out EBay, I know it can kill you, but like I said, I was desperate.....and lo and behold there was ONE, count em, ONE on Ebay of the 28-car variety, the one I want.
So, me being as smart as I am, I held out till the end and placed my bid only to have this schumck outbid me with 5 min. left ....I couldn't believe it! So with lightning fast reflexes, I went into action.
And now, here I sit, winner of the auction!!!! After it ended, I went looking at this guys feedback just for kicks and I see he already won of these things back in Jan. and he's a J.J. fan no less! I tell you what, I'm pretty happy with myself tonight!
Sorry, I had to brag somewhere and the woman just brushed me off, LOL.
it arrived today, as soon as I walked in, I put it together and had it finished before dinner was even done! now all I have to do is get more diecasts to finish filling it up.......of course then I would have to get another case, and then I would need MORE diecasts....etc. etc. etc.
