Well, We all new this was coming! Personaly, I respect JR for sticking to his guns. But what can you expect from the son of the "Intemidator"? What choice do you have when you get painted into a corner? Teresa should have know she could not keep him without giving him what he wanted. And the fact that she did not even try, shows me that she is not the "savy" buisness women she and everyone thought. Like JR. said they did not even get in the same "ballpark" during negotiations. Teresa has no one to blame but her self. Just goes to show you how interested she really was to have a championship team. If your a team owner, you do everything in your power to make that happen. Dont treat your star driver like a 16 year old child. I have had numerours emails and phone calls form friends and family who support other drivers. They have been telling me that they have a new found respect for Jr. I have a greater respect for him than I did before. So Jrs fan will never abandon him for doing what he did. What choice did the "biotch" leave him? His fan base will grow! I will follow him anywhere he goes. And that includes driving for Hendrick. I also dont think that his days at TEI (formaly DEI) are NOT over. In two years Teresa will be begging him to buy her bankrupt race team. But, that is just my opinion. As for where Jr. will end up next season, I dont care! And for the Media! Let the man alone!!!!!! Let him finish this life changing event in his life, that has been very emotional for him, in pease!!!

Well, even though I think she made a huge mistake, you have to give the lady the credit she deserves, she helped build Dale Sr. (off the track) every bit that he helped himself. She is a great business woman, Family just got in the way.
By that, I mean Teresa and Jr. NEVER got along.....dating all the way back to when he was a kid.....he has said that on a few occasions.....I think they were both unwilling to budge because they have a very strong dislike for each other.....that being said, she did make a mistake and now she will have to deal with it.
