A new feature that I'd like to do next year are 1 or 2 weekly columns. One would be about the race results from the last NASCAR race, maybe talk about the hottest story, biggest controversy or latest rumors flying around. The other column would be about the league results, the standings, predictions and anything else regarding the league.
If I can get 2 people to do it we could probably do 2 columns, or if only 1 person wants to do it, they could probably incorporate the two.
Before anyone volunteers please think it over and ponder if you would have enough time to do it every week. Well, I would like it every week or so, but its understandable if you have to skip a week here and there. I'd like it fairly early in the week, preferbly before Wednesdays, but we could work on it.
So please give a shout out if interested or if anyone has ideas about anything additional they'd like to see, please let me know.
Oh, and if you volunteer and feel that you'd like to start early maybe we can do it a few weeks this year.
If for some reason we get a number of people who want to write columns, I'll probably post them all this year and let the members vote on who should write for next year.
That depends, could be any length. Hopefully a good amount, but doesn't have to be extra long. What I'm probably looking to do is create a text box on the left side of the main page on the new site. The new site has a similar layout to the current one. Hopefully I can get the person's picture... a small headshot or something, and place it there. I'll type a little preview of the person's article and provide a link to it each week. The article or articles will be on a separate page. The person writing it can either e-mail me a text document each week and I'll put it on the page, or they can host it on their own site if they choose.
