I just wanted to comment on the article that made its way onto the Jayski's website.
While I can neither confirm nor deny about the story that has Nathan Helton, current driver of the Comcast Chevy, coming into the newly formed team that we are building, I can say that it would certainly be an honor and a privilege to have someone of that caliber associated with us. What's more, so far as I know, he is currently under contract with his own operation, Helton Motorsports, so I would not want to comment on something until we had something concrete if there was even anything to talk about in the first place. We are just trying to get our research department in order and also look at all the free agents out on the market to determine which way we would like to proceed. But yes, he is a great driver and to be able to reel a fish in that big would definately be a step in the right direction of being competitive again.
After snagging a truly great veteran like Nathan Helton, we have since been able to sign hot-shot rookie Dean Higley!
We currently have one spot available. We aren't sure what direction we are going to take or even if we will fill it at all. One thing is for sure, whomever is chosen, they will be joining a team that is serious about putting all of their drivers in the Chase as well as having one of them grab the Championship.
ok matt..... can you handle a girl on your team.... not the best driver but most the time I'm steady. Now about that has to be a jr fan... are u a stewart fan as well....lol
