A couple of records in the Cup Series were broken at Lowe's Motor Speedway.
Team Bow Tie broke the record of most race winners picked in a season after he picked his 19th. The previous record was 18 held by three teams: Gasitnpassit, Bump and Go Racing and Warpigs. Team Bow Tie also tied the record for most drivers leading the most laps after picking his 18th.
YatesFan broke the record for most top 10 drivers (finishing 6th-10th) in a season after picking his 39th. The previous record was held by Baldridge Racing.

Helton Motorsports is also on track to break most lap leaders in a season. He is just 4 away from tying the record, 5 from breaking it.
Team Bow Tie set a new record of most drivers leading the most laps after picking Jeff Gordon at Martinsville. The new record is 19 drivers for the season. Congrats to him!

Helton Motorsports and Team Bow Tie are now tied with 89 lap leaders for the season. They need three more to tie the record and will then fight it out between themselves for the new record.
At Texas, Team Bow Tie broke the record for most lap leaders in a season! The previous record was 92 set by Bump And Go Racing last year. Team Bow Tie now has 95 lap leaders for the season with 2 races to go. Let's see if he can break 100.
