Last year a few people believed that we should run buschwackers in their own catagory and everyone else grouped together in other catagories. This change caused problems this year with drivers switching rides around.
Buschwackers who were orginally scheduled to be in a ride were switched with a rookie driver, or vice versa. This caused the car to be switched to a different group. If a member was not able to change their picks around in time, points were lost.
Overall, some weeks were very confusing. Next year I believe we should switch back to owners points again. This way no matter who is in the ride, you will get points for that driver.... even if they switch at some point.
I think we should have 5 groups, 6 cars in each group. Pick a car from each of those groups for your 5 picks. We will also have a 6th group for cars outside the top 30. if you choose, you can switch one driver from that group into group 5 only. We used to have it were you could make multiple switches into any of the groups. But to make it more simple, I think switching a group 5 for a group 6 driver would be better.
We would also still have the buschwacker bonus as well..... or whatever it will be called next year.
