With the acquistion of Pau Gasol and Bynum coming back in about a month, the Lakers are the team to beat. They have Kobe, Bynum, Pau, Odom, Fisher and the deepest bench in the West if not the whole league.
Suns are even panicing with their bone-headed trade for Shaq. (Miami is at least thanking them for that, of course they will offload $40 million while picking up Shawn Marion!)
Garnett is still hurting and without him, Celtics haven't a shot since they are through the easiest part of their schedule already.
Spurs are a threat but with Parker hurting, it will be a struggle.
Dallas can't get it straight and if they did, they would just choke in the end.
Utah and Detroit are scary though, but I feel like L.A. can take them both in a seven game series.
Ok calm down Kobe lover. Gasol looked great last night but he won't keep that up. San Antonio is still the team to beat in the West with Dallas, Lakers, Phoenix, Utah and New Orleans right behind.
And as for the Celtics, they beat Dallas without Garnett and lost to Cleveland by 1 point last night without Garnett and with Pierce sick and not playing good and Ray Allen playing hurt. They are letting Garnett rest now so they can have him healthy when it matters.
