Well the phils are all ready talkin smack on the Mets! Santana was an excellent pick-up for the Mets I must say. They really been spending the bucks the past few years. To no avail to this point. I'd say somebodies arse is getting canned if they don't do it this year. Mets will go down in history for one of the biggest collapses in the history of the game last year. Don't know about this year though. Tip for the Phils....Take Santana out in a brawl early in the season. Make it count, broke leg or something! lol Maybe while these two fight it out Atlanta can back-door em! GO Braves

Mets should try using some youth. They keep taking players on the way down. Pedro for instance we let him go at just the right time. The SOX are pretty much intact from last year. Curious to see how they start out.
Mets will be much better this year with Santana... they finally have that pitching ace. Just need a little more help in the bullpen. Besides, they need to have a good season for the final year of Shea stadium!
Wow, didn't know Shea was coming down! I've been to two games there. Nice place except for all the planes. I think the Mets are the team to beat as well. Maybe Bumpy can take us to see the wall at Fenway sometime. One of the few places I haven't been, that I'd like to see. Wrigley is my all time favorite. Turner field is very nice with many attractions for kids of all ages. Would like to get up to Baltimore's new park as well as Pittsburgs new facilaties!

oh yeah.... Citi Field is being built right next door to Shea for 2009. Looks like its gonna be very nice A nice throwback to the old stadiums.
The Yanks are getting their new stadium too, next year. Still have never been to Yankee stadium, but I might try to get there this year before it's gone for good.
I hate the Yankees as well, but I've been to Yankee Stadium 4 times. The great thing is, they lost all 4 times I've gone! Twice to the Red Sox and once each to Atlanta and Seattle. It's a great stadium though.
