Regarding the off-weeks I mean. NASCAR did a pretty poor job spacing them out. I like how they changed the first off-week after the fifth race of the year... much better than after just the 2nd race after how it's been in years past.
However, is it necessary to have this week off just a few weeks after the Easter break? The next break is after Chicagoland in July and then 17 straight weeks of racing where everyone gets exhausted by the end.
NASCAR should have an off week right before the Chase which allows the media to build it up for a week. Then move that other off-week some place between Easter and the Chase, maybe Mothers Day weekend again or sometime in June.
