Just like NASCAR, Lucky Dog Racing will also have an award for rookie of the year. Any new team that signs up this year will be eligible. A team from last year can be eligble if they have run 7 or less races, which is the rule that NASCAR uses. Since everyone has run over 7 races last year, nobody would be eligble.

So far we have three new teams joining up this year, with hopefully more on the way. Those new teams are Baldridge Racing, Pappy's Drivers and The Blue Ovals. Let's all welcome them to the league!
