the gas stations lie! Every one of those sites list a station right up the street from me as the lowest. Go there and they are 3 cents higher. They report the wrong price to the sites to get people in.

A friend of mine works as a station mgr. and he says by the 4th of July gas will be over 5.00$ Little guys like me will be hurting!! Thats an avg. of .03 cents a fricken DAY!! Not cool OPEC, NOT COOL!!!!

All I can say ....thank you Democrats for not allowing us to drill on our own soil. I guess their goal is to make everyone suffer...which seems to make them get more votes. Someday us Americans will get pissed off and vote anyone who intentionally makes Americans suffer right out of office..regardless of party.

Wrong as usual John! It is not the Republicans! It is every one of the stupid bastards we keep sending to Washington. As soon as they get there they forget they were sent to represent the people that voted for them but no they start running for office again collecting money from all the big pockets there. It's not just the races themselves, but the cost of driving the haulers to the races every weekend must be killing a lot of these teams.

Not to mention all the fans that tailgate in those big RV's.

We have over an hour coomute to work everyday and I know it's hurting us big time.

about 10-15 miles south of Gary......close enough to Chicago without all the b.s.

But I spoke to soon....I looked today and its now at $4.11!!!

my '05 Impala gets good mileage, but it was nicer filling up for $20 rather than $35-40.

Been hovering at $3.99 up here in Rhode Island. I noticed a 7-11 gas station off the highway is charging $4.07 though.

Jessy is that for a liter? If so there are 3.79 liters in a gallon. So you are paying 5.685 per gallon.

I went to get gas yesterday and it was $4.09. So this week it went up .10 cents. It's going to be $5 or more by 4th of July!
