WOW!!! I have been reading where JR had issues on the caution laps (passing the pace car). Guess NASCAR was really intent on getting him a win. Also NASCAR admitted placing vickers in the wrong spot. had he been placed properly, he may have passed JR. Guess NASCAR was doing whatever it could....boy this should get all the JR fans BP up !!

If it was CRAP....i'd agree with ya..all is true. Now can you honestly say if it was Robby Gordon who did that, that NASCAR would say..play nice Robbie!! NOTTTTTT Probably would of been 100,000 fine and 12 race suspension...ok I was carried away there!!!

What got my blood pressure up was worring about how much fuel he had left for the restart. I knew someone would start the Nascar gave it to Jr. talk soon as he won. The best one yet is that Nascar called down to a couple of teams and said crash after Jr. takes the white flag so he wont have to run the last lap under full power. I dont know how many races I have seen where I thought Nascar gave it to drivers that I didnt want to see win the race. So im going to enjoy this win, I have earned it.

Way to go Jr.  Its a win and its in the books!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, we had a couple of Amps in the fridge to toast Jr's win. It was nice. Actually we watched the race over at Gwen's parents house. First race we ever watched there and he won.... guess we'll have to watch more there!

Yeah, although it was a fuel mileage win, it's not like he stole it. Dale Jr. was running in the top 5 all race long and could have easily gotten the win. Their strategy worked out to their advantage, usually they get burned from it. Nice to see something finally work out for them.

All I have to say is that I am a Gordon fan, and I was happy to see Junior win. He is a Hendrick driver! If I tried to count all the races that were won because of fuel strategy, caution flags, etc... I would still be counting when the green flag drops on Sunday! A win is a win is a win! Matt for the record, not all Gordon fans have excuses as to why he didn't win or why somebody else won. I actually like seeing other people win sometimes.....what fun would watching a race be if you knew Jeff, or Dale, was going to win everytime. Now don't get me wrong....five or six victories in a row would be nice:) Congrats to you Junior fans....you waited long enough. I will expect some congratulations when Jeff wins this weekend!

and where was it Gordon won at this year?

where is Gordon at in the standings?

how many top fives does he have this year?

do I need to keep going?

.....go ahead and tell me about all he has done in his career rather than answer the questions.

As you are aware..winning isnt important. Finishing in the top 12 is. Remember it was Jeff who allowed JR to come to HMS. The only career stat i need is Gordons 81 victories to JR's 18. On to Infineon..where JR will end up in the sand...as he does every year!!

just pointing out to Gordon fans, that he isn't really knocking over the barricades to Victory Lane as they would suggest.

Jr. is the current Top Dog at Hendrick although I am glad to see Johnson and Gordon finally get up in the Top Twelve.....I would rather have those two plus Mears over other guys that currently reside there.

So I guess the only career stat I need is Darrell Waltrip 84 victories to Jeff Gordons 81. On to Infineon... where anyone can end up in the Kitty Litter

Oh by the way.... Did Jr. end up in the sand? Nope...  Had a solid run, didn't see him get into any trouble at all. Now all the road course ringers.... that's a different story!

lol Only JR would be happy with a 12th place finish, and losing another 68 points to Busch. I guess when you slow down, its easy to stay on the track. The ringers were a hugh disappointment! Since you brought it up...it took Ole DW 29 years to get his 84 wins. That means Jeff has 14 more years to get 4 wins to pass him. Any bets? No hard feelings here..I didnt like JR before and I still dont. I am sure you say the same about Jeff...so all is even!

#24 and #88 are actually friends! i dont just love jr. but he has been consistent and he is learning how to be a grown up, professional, nascar car driver, rick hendrick has him on the right track and i may end up liking him more if he contiues to be professional, and a man and not some rock n rock superstar! if you are a nascar driver why not want to be like jeff gordon! jeff is professional! and a helluva driver with a so so crew chief!

No hard feelings here either, by your post I figure Dale has at least 6 or 7 years after Gordon quits to try and get close to him in victories and if he doesnt oh well. Like you said in one of your posts in this thread, winning isnt important.
