as I have stated in the past....these restrictor plate races are boring. They are not racing. Any attempt to say this is racing is just plain BS.

Please...tell me what the awesome part was...the wrecks? I guess I am too old school, back when men raced, and didnt play follow the leader. I dont blame the drivers..its NASCAR

I'm not old school by far but, I have to agree last nights race was on the boring side. I love restrictor plate races not for the wrecks but, just the speed and drafting part of it all. This was a different race by far I think.
The Daytona Races used to be fun to watch -- I guess we will have to see how Dega is in Oct. I thought that race was good in the spring.
Daytona used to be fu indeed, now they have to rely too much on handling. There is no way though that those last 20 laps were boring. If you weren't excited for that racing, then there can't be much that does excite you.
Yeah, those last 20 laps where pretty wild. I know Austin was a little pissed off at Carl Edwards (LoL) He was like who did that Dad? Then I had to explain to him that it was just one of those racing deals -- that sure was a slow restart tho. Then I think Austin was ok after that but, he sure didn't like it when Kyle won again -- he was booing at him (LoL it was to funny)
Yes, I have to disagree on the boring part. The first part of the race was kind of slow, but the second half of the race was very exciting I thought, and not just because of the wrecks. There was lots of passing and different strategies being used. To each his own I guess, but I thought it was pretty good.
my point exactly....the last 20 laps were exciting...what about the other 140 laps? Kinda like going to a movie, with only the last 10 minutes being good. How many movies would you continue to go see? On to Chicago!!
