While you don't need a name to read posts in the forum, you can not reply to them or create your own. You must have your own name if you wish to participate in the discussions. Why be a lurker? Make yourself known to everyone!
Q: What do I need to do to make a forum name?
Not much.... just click at the top right of the page where it says new member. First, make sure you have a valid email before creating your name. You will need to fill out some information, what name you want to use, your password, email and some optional information as well. You can always go back and complete this information in your user details later on if you choose. After your fill it out and submit it, you should shortly receive an automatic message in your email that you will need to click on to activate your membership. Once you click on it, you will be able to log into the forum. Note: Sometimes it may be necessary for the moderator to approve all new names first. If you do not receive the email or your name has not been approved yet, please email the President of Lucky Dog Racing.
Q: I have a name, but forgot my password, What do I do?
Simple.... Just click where is says "lost account info" at the top of the page. It will ask you to enter either your forum name or email address. It will then send your password to your email. If for some reason you forgot which email you used or which name you chose, contact the moderator and he will help you out.
Q: Can I change my name after I created it? Well, you can't, but the moderator can. If you would like to change your name to something else, just contact the moderator and he will change it for you. Make sure to change it to the new name next time you log in!
Also, a member can only use one name in the forum. Additional or duplicate names are not allowed. If you have been banned or suspended by the moderator and try using another name to access the forum, that name will also be banned and you risk becoming permantly banned from the forum.
