Three of us in the Top Ten, now that is what we are capable of - its time for us to get back to early season form where we were just stroking it!
The kicker of it was that I could have gotten the win this week, but decided to play it safe. I had four of my five drivers picked out and had enough salary to pick any driver from the Top Group of drivers. I thought long and hard about going with Kyle (would have given me the win with a 20+ rather than -30 in second), but I was afraid that lil' ol Rowdy would let his temper get in the way of a good finish, so I went with about the safest bet in the group - Johnson. I'm not complaining, 2nd is still very nice, but it would have been good to get another Victory.
Either way, Good Job guys, its nice to see RTI at the top of Team Standings even if it is just for this week.
My summer has been up and down top 10 then two 30+ finishes top 10 then 18th or something then another top 10. I would rather finish 14th and 15th all year then have this back and forth stuff. Good job RTI, I knew we had one more good run in us.
