I noticed NASCAR changed up the running order of the drivers who finished 7-11 in the official results.
If you picked Johnson or Edwards, you gained 5 points.
If you picked Denny Hamlin you lost 5 points.
If you picked Kurt Busch, you gained a whopping 15 points since he moved into 10th place. Nobody picked Allmendinger, or they would have lost 15 points.
This changed the results for a number of members. There wasn't any change in the top 10, but there were a number of changes below that including the bottom 10.
Some team bonus points also changed as well. Mafia Motorsports gained back 3 points, Intimidator Racing, Inc. gained back 2 points, Texas Motorsports lost 1 point and Randy Cook Racing lost 2.
Biggest gainer of this change was Rene Nadeau who jumped all the way up from 22nd to 13th.
And actually it looks like Marty Fleissner will be holding on to the standings lead after all, just barely.
The standings will be fixed this evening, but you can see the new results here:
Ok, standings have been updated. I was wrong though, Marty is still in 2nd place, but now just 2 points behind. There wasn't much change in the standings, just a couple members switching spots further down the standings.
