Food for thought

Every one is quick to blame Bush but here is some interesting information.

After watching the debates, I cannot understand why anyone would vote for Obama. The guy is just plain crooked, and it shows every time he speaks without a prompter. I found this photo of him during a July 4th event. I know he finds the USA embarassing, but this says it all.!! Notice that the other 3 peeps on stage have their hands over their hearts...including Hillary, but Obama is playing with himself. What a disgrace!!

Ok Jeff. somehow i knew that would be the response, but tell me one thing. What is the change that NOBAMA has promised you that hits home with you? Is it the fact he says he is going to cut your taxes? Is it that he wants to nationalize health care? I am just curious because the more I read about him, he is not good for any class of citizens. Or is it that you just dont like Bush? Just curious, cause I ask this question to all NOBAMA supporters.

Oh by the way...your guy let me down in LROC last week. Guess I will need to make a CHANGE!! lol

First things first sorry about the LROC race last week dont know why he stayed out so long on a set of tires. Now, we need to get out of this war. A war we should have not been in. And the thing that pisses me off is when people say there fighting for my freedom. I dont live in Iraq so there not fighting for my freedom. We didnt finish the job in Afganistan and didnt kill Binladen. But we went to Iraq and HUNG Sadam. Thanks George. And Iam sadden for are soliders that have died and got hurt . "CHANGE"

First that photo of Obama is doctored. Second are you sure Bin Laden is alive. He could just as well be maggot bait in some collapsed cave. we probably will never know.

Just my 2 cents...

Are you better off today than 8 years ago?- not many people I know can say that.

That stimulus check program really got the economy going- that money went to the oil companies, since most of us used the check to pay to fill our SUVs

Have they found those weapons of mass destruction yet?  BTW- Democracies are not created from outside occupiers, its created internally.

Does McCain even know how to spell domestic?- whats his plan, other than pouring more money into a "surge"

Hey do think you will have social security when you retire?

Ok so you are mad at Bush. Kinda what I thought. I come from a Military family and understand the freedom they provide. NOBAMA will decrease our military like Clinton did, making us less capable of defending the USA. How many lives will be lost if we bail on IRAQ? I guess it doesnt matter unless they arent Americans. Can you imagine if NOBAMA had been president during WW11 ? We arent the greatest country in the world because we just sit by and watch people get massacred. I am 50 years old and would go to fight for my country tomorrow if asked. I am proud of the soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice for our Country. Did you know more people died in the City of Chicago (NOBAMAS town) in August than died in IRAQ? (might be July...not sure). Are you aware of the numbers of Americans who die yearly on our highways? 30 40 50 thousand! So why not the outrage there? I suppose if Bush built the highways, he would be blamed. To me NOBAMA scares the heck out of me. He could care less about America... he only cares about himself and the Democrat party. He knows only what he reads, cause he has ZERO experience doing anything. I am glad he isnt running to be a brain surgeon...everyone would die on the table.

If you would take the time to stop hating Bush for a sec, and check into NOBAMAS past...check out who he was associated with, check his voting record, and read his books. He isnt the man for this country. I would never vote for a thug who is a lawyer and has friends like Ayers, Rezco, Flagler, Wright, and is involved with ACORN. Google Acorn..you'll be shocked at what they do.....I am done

Answers to your 2 cents

1. Yes I am better off because I never bought a $200,000 house for zero down while I was unemployed

2. My stimulus check is still in the bank. Saving it for a Vacation next year

3. WMD's...lets see. We announce in November we may go in. We go in in March. Hmmm was there enough time to move them? Syria maybe? I remember the Iran/Iraq war where chemical weapons were used.

4. The war will be won. The cost of losing is unbearable

5. Social security. This program was never designed to be a means for retirement by itself. My retirement plans do not include SS, so if its gone, I will be fine. Since it is here now, I would be for privatization of my account. Getting it out of the Governments hands and letting receipients choose its future, would insure it would be there when they retire.

6. McCain never asked a wheelchair bound guy to STAND UP!

McCain and Obama have both said that they will not pull troops out of Iraq for at least five more years, so that can't be a reason to vote for or against either one. They have the same position essentially.

Obama, in my eyes is a shuckster snake-oil salesman, he isn't ready to deal with all of our problems and really has no experience. All I have seen him do is make publicity visits to garner attention for himself to set him up for this race. Not to mention, having Biden in the White House scares me ten times as much as Obama.

McCain is not the best man for the job, I will admit that, but he is the best man in this two-man race. The past three elections have been this exact same scenario. Instead of criticizing each candidate, the American people need to be trying to find a way to fix the way we go about electing our Presidents.

I long for the day when America has a 3-5 Party System....probably won't happen, but then again, people thought Great Britain would rule the world for eternity.

wow things sure get heated when election time rolls around . first off everyone of us here is better off than we were 8 years ago and if you dont agree with that youre lying to yourself .
if it wasnt an election year i dont believe the economy would be what it is or gas would cost what it does . neither side wants to chip in and fix it because they want their guy to look good when the economy is the first thing they address after taking office . look at the problems their having agreeing to give 700 billion dollars to fix this banking mess . given a comparison between McCain and Obama and i dont see how you vote against McCain. Obama is hoping to ride the race card all the way to Pennsylvania Ave . but he didnt grow up black and has no idea what blacks go through in this country . he has consistently shown himself to be a liar at best with quick wit and lipservice . how do i choose a millionaire that understands my wants and needs and can relate to my struggles and issues ? its not possible . until a common man or woman can once again be elected president of this great country we will be stuck with choosing the lesser of two evils every 4 or 8 years . im far from being a liberal republican follower but i can put my trust in a man who has fought for his country and stood by his beliefs even though his own party has turned its back on him in the past . i have never liked or had any use for 'W' but thought his dad was a great man . i dont think he ever created his own shadow much like i believe McCain has . this discussin is far from over but i just had to comment for now
one more thing and im done . i think iraq was all about the oil much like we are all paying way over $3.50 for gas while oil companies are recording record profits . if this was home depot or walmart someone would be screaming price gouging . i have never agreed with the war in iraq but we as an american people now have a vested interest in this war , the thousands of lives given for its sake . pulling out anytime soon would be a dishonor to those who did give all for this country .

Actually Matt, I would like to see the end to the party system period. Let individual members vote for themselves. It just stinks that Dems and Repubs usually vote with each other with a few who go against their party. After a meeting with my Financial guy Tuesday after Mondays 777 point loss on Wall Street, he told me the worse thing for economy would be NOBAMA getting elected. I heard Dave ramsey on the Radio say the same thing today. All financial people I have talked to say the same thing. He is a socialist.
